The location of the Unique Cosy Cottage is ideal, with beautiful gardens and a river nearby for leisurely walks. the cottage itself is charming and comfortable, providing a unique and cozy atmosphere. the property boasts stunning gardens, even during the winter months, adding to its appeal. it is conveniently located for exploring both Edinburgh and East Lothian, making it a great base for discovering the area's attractions.
Accessing the garden directly from the cottage seems to be a bit inconvenient, as guests have to go along the road to reach it. This could be a drawback, especially with dogs or those who prefer easy access to outdoor spaces.

I had an amazing stay at this cottage! The gardens were stunning, even in the winter. I loved taking walks by the river Esk, which was only a 5-minute walk away, and the views were exceptional. The inside of the cottage was so comfortable and had a cosy feel. I was thrilled to have Wi-Fi, a TV, and a fireplace for instant heat on colder nights. The kitchen had all the utensils and appliances I needed to make food. this place had everything I needed for a perfect stay.

The property was absolutely beautiful and cozy inside, making it incredibly comfortable. The highlight was definitely the stunning gardens at the rear of the property, even during the winter season. Additionally, the location was perfect, with a 5-minute walk to the river Esk and its beautiful paths and views. this unique cottage offered a truly unique experience that we would definitely book again.
There were a couple of drawbacks during our stay. it was odd that we couldn't access the garden directly from the property, even though there was a door.

my second visit to musselburgh was even better thanks to the unique cosy cottage with stunning gardens. the charming period property exceeded my expectations with its twee, yet comfortable interior. the beautiful garden, especially when in bloom with tulips, added an extra touch. its great location allowed for easy exploration of edinburgh and east lothian.
Communication with the owner and agent was lacking. had to figure out entry myself in the rain, and the owner's stand offish attitude left a sour note.
